1· Using an electric furnace of more than 5 tons, the raw material is single and stable, we recommend the dispersion adding method. According to the requirements of carbon content and according to the proportion of ingredients, the recarburizer and the metal charge are added to the middle and lower parts of the electric furnace together with each batch of materials. Do not slag when the recarburizer is melted, otherwise it will be easily wrapped in the waste slag, which will affect the absorption of carbon.
2. Using an intermediate frequency induction furnace of about 3 tons, the raw materials are single and stable, we recommend the centralized addition method. When the molten iron is first melted in the furnace or a small amount of molten iron remains, add the recarburizer to be added on the surface of the molten iron at one time, and immediately add the metal charge, and press all the recarburizer into the molten iron to make the recarburizer fully contact with the molten iron .
3. When using a small medium-frequency electric furnace and the raw material contains high-carbon materials such as pig iron, we recommend fine-tuning the recarburizer. After the steel/hot metal is melted, adjust the carbon content, which can be added to the surface of the steel/hot metal, and the product can be dissolved and absorbed by the eddy current stirring or manual stirring of the steel/hot metal during electric furnace melting.
